The Nappies Bill would provide parents with the much-needed information and support to make using reusable nappies easy, accessible and affordable. “Reusable nappies are a great example of a sustainable alternative to our throwaway society and should be encouraged. Many councils offer incentives to encourage new parents to use the more sustainable, and often cheaper alternative. Labour will invest in local government re-use systems and encourage reuse schemes such as the real nappy incentive scheme.”
